Duval Street Crawl: Four Bars You Actually Want to Hit

Duval Street Crawl: Four Bars You Actually Want to Hit

Duval Street runs a mile and a half and has more bars per block than anywhere in the continental US. You don't need to hit them all. Start at Captain Tony's Saloon — the original Sloppy Joe's location, Hemingway's actual bar, bras on the ceiling, live music most nights.

Walk down to The Green Parrot at Whitehead — a legitimate dive with the best bartenders on the island and rock acts that are better than they have any right to be. The Bull & Whistle has a rooftop (the Garden of Eden, which is clothing-optional — know what you're walking into) and a street-level room that's usually full.

Finish at Schooner Wharf over at the marina when the sun's long down. Last call in Key West runs until 4 AM — you don't have to use all of it, but you can.
